The story of IAI…

 

 

     International Assembly Inc. was incorporated in 1992.  The company was established to help small and medium sized companies gain access to scan0002.jpgMexico’s young motivated labor force. By the end of their first year IAI had grown into medical manufacturing operation producing a wide variety of medical products.

 

     IAI began operations in a 30,000 sq. ft. facility and soon grew into a 60,000 sq. ft. building.  At the beginning of 1997 the management of IAI made the commitment for the implementation of a Quality Management System based on ISO 9000 as one way to satisfy their customer’s needs and at the same time improve the management of the quality processes.

 

     In December of 1997 IAI gained ISO 9002-1994 accreditation for its internal quality management system.

Over the past thirteen years International Assembly, Inc. has grown onto five facilities with more than 180,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space. 

 

     Our operations produce high quality products for medical, automotive, consumer and textile markets.   Our processes include injection molding, insert molding, laser trim, automated painting, automated assembly, extrusion, testing and manual assembly.  All of these processes run under compliance to the International Accreditation of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO TS 16949:2009.

 

     IAI understands the importance of working under a controlled, stable, friendly manufacturing environment.  Teamwork is a key element in our business.  We are an extension of our customers manufacturing operations and work closely with their management teams to insure that their products meet their customers’ requirements.  Teamwork promotes customer satisfaction and generates an excellent environment for our labor force to work under.

 

     Now, IAI maintains a workforce of 730 employees.
